Mastercard has partnered with LoungeKey to bring you an innovative new program that will help transform the airport experience from 'wasted time' to 'me time'. How long is the Mastercard Airport Experiences benefit offered by LoungeKey valid for?
Your benefit is activated through your eligible Mastercard payment card and is valid until your eligible card is canceled or expires. If your card expires and you receive a new card in the mail, simply update your card information in your online account through the website or app.
Does the benefit give me priority or express boarding at the gate?

How is this program different from Priority Pass or LoungeKey?
In addition to airport lounge access, Mastercard Airport Experiences also offers deals on restaurants, spas and airport shopping as part of the LoungeKey program. Also, no additional cards need to be carried.
What does Schengen and non-Schengen mean?
The Schengen Agreement is a series of agreements made by European states that subsequently abolished border controls between most EU client countries. There are designated areas for Schengen and non-Schengen flights at certain airports in signatory countries. In some cases where lounges are located in a Schengen area, you can only enter the lounge if you are flying to another Schengen country. Likewise, non-Schengen lounges are only accessible if you are flying to a non-Schengen country. If applicable, the status of a lounge is clearly displayed when searching the lounge finder in the app. Currently, the following countries participate in the program. It is worth noting that the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland are currently not signatories: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta . How do I delete my online account?

How do I access the VIP lounges at participating airports?
There are two ways to enter the lounges. First, you can simply present your eligible Mastercard and mention LoungeKey to the lounge staff. Alternatively, you can present your access code to the digital room, which is available after registering an online account on the Site or App.
What if I don't have my Mastercard payment card with me?
The lounge cannot verify that you are a valid Mastercard Airport Experiences customer without swiping your bank card.

I need a receipt for paid lounge visits, how do I get copies?

I have a charge on my Mastercard payment card statement from a company called LoungeKey, why?
Although Mastercard payment card benefits are known as Mastercard Airport Experiences provided by LoungeKey, the program is operated by LoungeKey. For this reason, any charge to your Mastercard payment card for visits or gifts of defined value will be treated as a LoungeKey transaction.
How will I be charged for lounge visits?
All lounge access fees for which you are responsible will be charged directly to your MasterCard payment card on file.
I received a message from my card issuer that my account was charged for lounge access. Because?
When visiting a lounge, a pre-authorization can be performed to authenticate that your Mastercard payment card has not been reported lost, stolen or cancelled. This means that a balance will be blocked to confirm that your card is still active and will be released after a certain time if your visits are free.
If complimentary visits are not available to you, you will be charged at the current lounge visit rate.

How do I know if my issuer offers me free lounge visits?

How can I check my free tour availability?
If your Exhibitor offers courtesy visits as part of its service, you can verify your visit permission in the Courtesy Calls section of your online account on the Website and App. Please note that you must be logged into your account to view this information.
When I check how many visits I have left, it says I have pending visits. What does that mean?
Pending visits are lounge visits that have been used but not fully processed. In some cases, there may be delays in processing visits. Once the visit has been processed, it is counted as used. In the Courtesy Calls view, you can check how many courtesy calls you have left.
Can I accumulate my courtesy calls over time?
If you receive courtesy calls from your issuer, the courtesy call number applies annually from January 1st to December 31st. Unused visits are non-transferable and cannot be carried over to the following year.

Can I see offers without an account?
Yes, you can view all available offers without logging into your online account on the website, but you cannot generate offer codes without registering and/or logging in to your online account.
Why can't I generate offer codes without an account?

I'm traveling in a few days and wanted to download an offer code for a dining experience. I noticed that the offer code is only valid for 3 hours, what should I do?

I downloaded several gift codes before the trip but I can't find them in the app, where are they?

Can I use the app offer codes at the same brand outlets outside the airport?

Why do some offers charge for LoungeKey and others don't?
All discount offers are collected directly from the retailer. The merchant will require the offer code and apply the discount before loading the remaining balance onto your eligible Mastercard payment card. Fixed value offerings (eg $27 set menu) will be charged directly to the eligible Mastercard payment card linked to your Mastercard Airport Experiences delivered online from your LoungeKey account. The merchant registered for these transactions will appear on your monthly card statement as "LOUNGEKEY.COM".
Will I be charged for an offer if the offer code expires?

Why can't I see the details of discount offer codes I've used in my history?
The app can only track LoungeKey enabled transactions that are fixed amount offers. Discount offers are billed directly by the retailer and therefore are not visible in your history.

Which app stores is the app available on?
The Mastercard Airport Experiences app provided by LoungeKey is available for Android and iOS devices and is free of charge.
Why do I have to register to use the app?
Registering for an account online and logging into your account is the only way to access all aspects of your personal account. Once signed in, you can access your digital lounge access code and codes for restaurants, spa and retail deals, as well as your usage history, personal information and more.
Why does the app need access to my location?
By allowing Mastercard Airport Experiences powered by LoungeKey to access your location, we can offer you the closest lounges or offers. If you don't want the app to know your location, just disable the location setting in your phone's settings.
Why did I exit the app?
For security reasons, you will be automatically logged out of the app after 30 days. The app will remember your username, but you will be asked to re-enter your password.

Why am I being asked to provide Mastercard details in the lounge?
As part of the PSD2 regulations implemented to reduce fraud, customers are required to pass strong authentication on certain transactions. Our solution only requires you to go through this process once, as subsequent transactions will be processed by your registered card.
What if I don't have my Mastercard with me?
You may not be able to complete the registration process and gain access to the lounge. We strongly recommend that you pre-register or update your Mastercard details online now to use your digital membership card, and you should carry your Mastercard with you whenever you visit a salon.
What if my card cannot be stolen?
Pre-register to use your digital membership card; Otherwise, you may not be able to access the lounges. If you were denied lounge access because the lounge device did not recognize your card, please contact your card issuer.
What if I don't have my phone to complete two-factor authentication?
If card validation cannot be completed in the lounge through the security screening methods specified by your issuer, you will not be able to access the lounge.
Can I use my digital access token* to enter the lounge?
You can use your digital access token to enter the room, but you may also need your physical card to complete the card validation process in the room if you have not previously validated your card. Mastercard Airport Experiences recommends that you take your Mastercard card with you when visiting a lounge.
What happens if I get a new Mastercard?
We encourage you to create an account or login to the website or app and update or re-enter your card details in the "My details" section as soon as possible. As part of these processes, you will need to authenticate your eligible Mastercard card. You will then be able to go through the standard lounge access process without having to re-authenticate your details.
Why am I being denied access after entering my details?
Once your Mastercard has been swiped, you will need to enter the country and postal code where the card is registered and the correct CVC on the back of your Mastercard. You will need to complete your bank's two-factor authentication process, which may require you to enter a one-time password on your device or validate the transaction in your banking app. If successful, the visitor sign-in process is complete.
I am still getting access denied. What can I do?
If you don't already have a Mastercard Airport Experiences online account, you can create one through the website or app. As part of this process, you will need to authenticate your qualifying Mastercard card. You will then be able to go through the standard lounge access process without having to re-authenticate your details.
