The money we earn helps us provide you with free credit scores and reports, and helps us create other great tools and educational materials.

Each salon in the Priority Pass network is unique and offers different services and amenities. Different Priority Pass lounges include the following benefits, if available:

  • Quiet place away from the main terminal
  • Free food and drinks
  • Free Wi-Fi and charging stations
  • Meeting room and shower room
  • Additional retail, dining, spa and sleep options in select lounges when using the Priority Pass app

But not all salons are the same.

As facilities vary from lounge to lounge, it's best to check which lounges and facilities are available before arriving at the airport to avoid disappointment. Details for specific lounges can be found on the website or in the Priority Pass app.

To enter the lounge, simply present your physical or digital membership card (if accepted) to the lounge operator upon entry. Most lounges allow guests to join but may limit the number of guests (check the Priority Pass app or website for details). If you purchase your membership directly from Priority Pass, guest access will be charged to your account at a flat rate. If you join the program through your card issuer or partner, guest fees may vary.

But you can also contact your employer if you can't open another credit card. Priority Pass offers corporate memberships to businesses for use by their employees and customers.

If you decide to sign up for a Priority Pass membership on your own, do the math to make sure you choose the plan that's best for you. For example, to get the $299 annual Standard Plus membership, you must visit Priority Pass lounges at least seven times per year. Otherwise, it might make more sense to get a standard membership for a few trips.

Priority Pass Select membership can be a huge benefit if you can get it for free with a credit card or if your employer pays for it.

However, if you have to pay for a membership to gain access to the lounge, the benefits may not outweigh the costs. Ultimately, it's up to you to decide whether the contents of your lounge are worth the money.
